9 foods to improve sleep

A good sleep is really necessary to keep your mind and body fresh and energetic in order to have a good concentration power. People who suffer from sleeping problems like insomnia should include some foods in their daily diet in order to have a good and sufficient amount of sleep. 9 foods that improve sleep are mentioned below as follows:

  1. Milk

Milk is a beverage that is well known to promote sleep. You should boil a glass of milk, add ½ teaspoon of sugar to it and then drink it every night before going to sleep. You can also add few cereals and fruits to a bowl of warm milk, mix them well and have it in your dinner. This will help you to get the necessary amount of sleep.

  1. Almonds

Once you add almond to your regular diet, it will affect your sleep in a positive way because it contains magnesium in it which promotes sleep. You can thus take a glass of warm milk, add 2-3 almonds to it and then drink it 2-3 times every day. You can also add almonds to a bowl of cereals and have it every day in your breakfast.

You can easily prepare the tea by soaking some dried barks of chamomile in a cup of water, boiling it and then straining it properly. You should drink this 2-3 times every day as it will help you to sleep well.

Honey will help you to have a peaceful sleep. Hence you can make boil a cup of water, add few pieces of ginger to it and then strain it well. After that add 2 teaspoons of honey to the tea and then drink this tea every night. You can also add few drops of honey to a glass of milk and drink it at night to have a sound sleep.
